So, where does one begin?  You know that feeling when you need to approach that one person you may have wronged (spouse, friend, family).  You know it's you, but you really don't want to admit it.  Well...

How about I begin with 'I'm sorry'.  Have you missed us?  I can tell you how busy the summer was, but I'm sure you were also quite busy.  There is no excuse for ignoring you. 
 
This is our 'newsletter', so I'll try to fill you in on some of the things we've been doing below. I don't know if I can capture everything, so I'll suggest you visit our website... regularly.  We keep making it better!  I'm so excited about all that is coming up. 

Please call or e-mail me.  Let's have coffee or lunch and discuss our service enhancements in greater detail.  I also would love to hear what changes you are experiencing!

The 'New' Kardon Website
In Our Toolbox     

The 'new' Kardon Technology website is getting older.  We launched the site in July and have been quite happy with the results.  The feedback has been awesome!

We just added the 'In Our Toolbox' page.  This page shows companies that Kardon does or has worked with that make life... grand.  We will be adding to the page as we remember or test other services. 

One of the nice things about the new aging site is that it's a nice centralized Kardon information portal.  We post articles to multiple social media sites.  Most of it can now be linked directly to our website.  If you are looking for information or think you have missed something, check out the 'In Other News' tab under Blogs & Resources, or maybe our 'Recent Blog Articles' tab.   And don't forget the most important page, Contact Us.

Recently, a client of ours suffered what can only be described as a catastrophe. A broken water-heater in a doctor's office nearly ruined a business.

On a Saturday afternoon, on the second floor in a closet next to the kitchen, a water heater broke and started pumping out water.  Not tricling...  On the floor below that water heater was a room that contained years of patient records and several thousand dollars worth of computer hardware (including patient database information). The entire doctor's practice was in this room.

Now, a few towels later and dozens of wet charts later, a few things become clear.  We thought we'd share...

How About Our New Website!

 

We spent some time on working on our new site, and it has now been active for a bit.  What is your favorite aspect of our new website?  Anything from as simple as 'it looks pretty', to how easy it is to post blogs, to SEO and tools.    


Donna:  I love how easy it is to find things plus how spiffy it looks.

 

Karla: I must admit that I was a bit hesitant about the need for a change.  But the differences are so obvious.  The site is crisp and offers so much more information about what we offer.  It is a better representation of Kardon Technology.

 

Jason:  I like the format of the services pages. I think it is easier to read and the organization is very nice.

 

Christa:  I like everything about the site.  I think it's crisp and exciting while being informative of everything Kardon.  The site is easily navigable and there's lots of info right at your fingertips with no need for lots of scrolling.

 

Brian:  I absolutely love the look of the site.  It's a huge benefit when I'm out in the field marketing and selling.  But I appreciate the behind-the-scenes benefits as well.  We had so many tools to relay information, but they didn't link well.  Everything is now linked to our website.  For SEO, that's huge.

I'm Calling it the U-turn City?     

So, Kardon Technology launched our HIPAA Compliance product in St. Louis.  It was (is) a huge success!  We had performed a couple of assessments in July, and scheduled more for this trip in August.  But, that's not the highlight of this article.

When's the last time you traveled?  How many of you have 'business travel' mentioned as part of your job description?   Well, it's been awhile for me.  You kinda just forget all that's involved.  I'm not even going to discuss the airport.  That body scanner is so kewl!!  I was like a kid in a candy store with Grandma's $100 bill.  Don't leave a penny in your pocket, by the way.  It kinda concerns security.  I still can't believe it identified my pocket as a 'danger zone'.

The flight was smooth.  Now...  Once you leave your 'comfort zone', everything is, well; different.  The people, the places, and...  What's a flashing yellow light?  There's more...
