Traveling off season can be extremely rewarding. Pay attention to the ads, look online. Travel deals are everywhere! Granted, there may not be as many vendors on the beach. Or, you may not stay in the water quite as long. But a sunset or sunrise over the ocean is still a spectacular sight 365 days a year!
South Beach magazine names the legendary Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach Hotel and Resort one of the best in Miami Beach! It is an oceanfront resort that offers "a sophisticated design, elegant amenities and impeccable service for the ultimate getaway", according to their website.

Cocktails for the Chilly Month

If you've ever attended a Kardon Events function, you've enjoyed one of our Signature Cocktails. It is typically something that the host prefers to drink or serve, often with an added tested twist. If you have ideas, please feel free to forward them to me.
The idea for the Midnight Martini came from suggested drinks for New Years. The coffee profile with both the liqueur and a vodka like Van Gogh's Espresso will keep you up well past midnight. The Midnight Martini is an interestingly simple cocktail. You can also try this one out with a coffee brandy or Double Espresso Vodka and Kahlua. Midnight Martinis can also be served as a shooter.

3.5 oz Vodka of Coffee Vodka
.5 oz. Coffee Liqueur Lemon Twist
Preparation: Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.. Stir with a bar spoon, Strain into a chilled cocktail glass Garnish with a lemon twist
