Walgreens Introduces Green Products Brand
Walgreens launched its new private-label brand, Ology, which includes "tree-free" paper products, as well as personal care products and household cleaners that the company says are formulated to be free of harmful chemicals. Walgreens said increasing consumer demand prompted the creation of the new brand.

P&G To Source Only Certified Pulp for Three Product Categories by 2015
P&G today announced new fiber-sourcing goals for the pulp it purchases for its tissue-towel, baby care and feminine hygiene brands. By 2015, all of the pulp used in these products will be third-party-certified under one of five certification programs used in different parts of the world to promote responsible forestry.

The NGO's aim is to achieve a shift in corporate behavior to preserve and enhance, rather than deplete, the earth's natural capital.
