Consider attending the UP Energy Summit on Thursday, October 10th in Marquette, Michigan for the 2013 UP Energy Summit where you will hear perspectives on local, state and regional energy developments. This year's Energy Summit will cover a variety of topics that are of great importance to the State of Michigan and its Upper Peninsula. Guest speakers include Valerie Brader, Deputy Legal Counsel and Senior Policy Advisor to Gov. Rick Snyder; Chairman John Quackenbush, Michigan Public Service Commission; and, Bill Ballenger of Inside Michigan Politics; in addition to presentations from other industry representatives.

Pure Michigan Business Connect  

The Michigan Economic Development Corporation's Pure Michigan Business Connect is seeking qualified Michigan companies to provide solutions to Consumers Energy and its Tier-1 partners Henkels and McCoy and Moran Iron Works. Pure Michigan Business Connect will be hosting an invite-only matchmaking summit in Gaylord, Michigan on October 21, 2013.

 

Companies are encouraged to click the link below to apply for an opportunity to attend this summit. All 400+ procurement needs are listed in the online application, please check which needs apply and provide a brief rationale why you are a good fit. Consumers Energy and its partners will select which companies will be invited based on the responses received. All invitees will receive at least one 20-minute pre-arranged private meeting. Once all private buyer-supplier meeting times are filled, the application link will close. Priority deadline for submission is close of business, September 23rd, 2013.
