March News from WRCDV
Spring has sprung and Women's Resource Center has lots of news to share. Keep reading to learn more.

Celebrate Tanya!
We've added a new survivor story to our website. Tanya says, "Although things were unbearable at home, I was reluctant to leave because I worried about the disruption it would cause my children. It wasn't easy, but being at WRCDV's safe house made it a lot easier than it could have been." Visit our website to read more about Tanya and three other women who used our services to rebuild a safe life for themselves and their children.

Do Your Part!
Last year, nearly 150 domestic violence survivors visited our emergency food pantry for food and other basic needs items for themselves and their children. In 2014, families used our pantry almost 1,000 times. Please take five minutes to purchase a few items for our pantry via our Amazon.com wish list. Your purchases will come right to our door and will help us provide support to women like Tanya who are rebuilding after escaping abuse.

Get Support!

Did you know Women's Resource Center offers domestic violence support groups twice each week at our community office? Women who are currently, or have formerly been, in an abusive relationship come together in our support groups to receive emotional support, resource information and friendship. Free childcare is also provided. If you'd like to attend a group, call us at 404-370-7670 for directions and meeting times. And visit our website to learn more about our support groups and other programs.
