How will the proposed 2035 comprehensive plan impact Northeast Portland - how we live, work and get around?
Join one of the upcoming workshops led by our NE District Planner from the Bureau of Planning and Sustainability. This is a great opportunity to ask questions provide comments and to learn more about how to use the online Map App.
Connect with your Neighbors on Nextdoor!
NextDoor is a new platform that is a neighborhood-based bulletin board. It allows you to connect with your immediate neighbors and active members of your neighborhood association: "Garage Sale Today!", "join the next Rose City Park transportation meeting"--are various messages you may see or post. Also, you can connect more broadly with the 7 neighborhoods nearest you. This makes finding others with similar interests "Spanish conversation group, anyone?" an easy task. Interacting by way of Nextdoor is one more way to be connected, engage neighbors and live life closer to home.
Your Neighborhood, Your Voice: N/NE Housing Strategy

North and Northeast Neighborhood Housing Strategy The City is investing $20 million in North/Northeast Portland over the next five years to help address the need for affordable housing. We need your input to inform the housing strategy. You are invited to participate in Portland Housing Bureau's Community Forums this September and October where you can learn about affordable housing tools and give input on how to invest the $20 million.
