May is Bike Month!
In celebration of National Bike Month in May, the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is hosting over a dozen events, including rides, clinics and refreshment stations to encourage people to get out and bike. National Bike Month also celebrates people who already are riding and encourages them to invite friends and colleagues to join the fun of biking to work, school and everyday errands. Cully Farmers Market Starting New Season!
An exciting turn of events has transpired with our Farmers Market. Cully Community Market is joining forces with Thursday's Old Salt Market to become Cully Farmer's Market - an affordable farmers market with local healthy food. We are moving into the heart of 42nd Ave business district and will be located outside of Old Salt, Roses, and Rocket Pizza.
The season will still be June through September but will change to Thursdays from 4 to 7 PM. Our Cully Farmer's Market is unique in that we will be hosting neighborhood-grown produce, neighborhood cottage industry, community table our Spotlight booth and culturally diverse entertainment. To volunteer or have a booth please email Myo at cullyfarmersmarket@gmail.com cullyfarmersmarket.com.
