Multnomah County Services Survey
Let Multnomah County leaders know what services to prioritize by taking this brief survey. For more than a decade, Multnomah County has had to make reductions to the general fund it uses to pay for services. While some reductions will continue to take place this year, some limited funding is available to minimally expand some services or improve critical infrastructure. Your input will convey to the board of county commissioners which services to prioritize. The survey results will be analyzed in a report that each commissioner will receive and presented to the board during one of its meeting. Please fill out the survey by March 10th to ensure it's included in the report. Paper copies can also be requested by contacting the Office of Citizen Involvement at 503-988-3450.
Community Forums and Public Hearing on Police Accountability
Community members will have the opportunity to share their views on police accountability at upcoming community forums on Sat. Feb. 8 2-4p 8427 N Central St; and Thurs. Feb. 13 6-8p 16126 SE Stark St. The public hearing is on Tuesday, Feb. 18 9a US District Court, Courtroom 13B 1000 SW 3rd Avenue.

The Portland Human Rights Commission (HRC) encourages community members to testify and attend a forum. Community members also can submit written testimony online.  For more information click here.

Prioritize Portland Transportation Geo-Survey

The geo-survey is a PSU student-lead effort working with neighborhoods and community organizations.  The goal is to gather input from the public to help identify factors that can help improve active transportation services in your neighborhood.  For example, where would a new sidewalk make your journey to the grocery store a bit more comfortable? Or, where would a new cross-walk or crossing guard make your child's trip to school a bit safer? Listening to the ideas and suggestions from all residents is an important emphasis of the Prioritize Portland! effort.  The goe-survey team will be scheduling visits at neighborhood meetings. More information about the online geo-survey coming this spring!
