Design Proposals for Street Seats Due March 1st!

Street Seats is a program of the Portland Bureau of Transportation that allows organizations to build a temporary platform in the on-street parking lane. The platform is to add additional outdoor seating for a restaurant or to provide additional public space for people to stop, sit, and take in the life of the street. The City will prioritize design proposals that are open to full public use and may be located any place in

Portland. Neighborhood support for the proposal will be one of the evaluation criteria used to select submissions. More information and application packets as well current Street Seat locations may be found

at www.PortlandOregon.gov/Transportation/StreetSeats.
