$550,000 in grant funds is available for conservation projects (or events) that fit one or more of the following categories: * soil erosion prevention/control * soil health * environmental education * water quality * water conservation * watershed health * habitat restoration Visit our website at www.emswcd.org to view application guidelines and to download the application forms. Nature in Neighborhoods Capital Grants Program |
Next round of Nature in Neighborhoods Capital Grant funding is now open. Metro is seeking applications for projects that re-green and re-nature neighborhoods. Full applications are accepted only from applicants who have been invited to apply after submitting a letter of interest. Letters of Interest are accepted at any time and staff encourage applicants to submit as soon as possible. Please note that it will be difficult for any project submitting a Letter of Interest after November 15th to incorporate staff feedback into a full application by the deadline. Full applications are due by 4 p.m. January 28, 2013.
