NE 82nd Avenue of Roses Walking Tour September 19th!

What? CNN is hosting a walking tour of existing conditions and future considerations for the NE 82nd Avenue of Roses. The Bureau of Planning and Sustainability NE District Planner will work with us along with other experts in the field to present current information. We will discuss opportunities and constraints around land use, transportation, zoning and livability of key sites along NE 82nd. Why? There have been efforts by community leaders and public agencies to make NE 82nd Avenue a safer more livable corridor. The timing is right considering the Portland Plan is ready for implementation. There is also much interest in the community to evaluate and to discuss ideas on how to continue efforts and activate needed improvements. Let's take a closer look at what is happening, raise awareness and make connections!
