PIT BULL PUPPY ADOPTED BY
WAR VETERAN
The Suffolk County SPCA will be holding a press conference on Thursday May 28th at 11am at 32 Oneida Ave., Selden, NY. Chief Roy Gross and representatives from Guardians of Rescue will be discussing the adoption of the Pit Bull Puppy which was rescued from its abusive owner who was captured on video smacking and kicking the dog last winter.
Chief Gross said the dog is being adopted by a service veteran under the program which was started by Guardians of Rescue called the "Paws of War Program." This program trains dogs to be service dogs.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
