SUFFOLK SPCA SEEKS INFORMATION AND OFFERS A $2,000.00 REWARD
The Suffolk County SPCA is seeking information from the public and offering a $2,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for strangling and hog-tying a Pit Bull.
Chief Roy Gross of the Suffolk SPCA said that the dog, a young female Pit Bull was found on Audwin Rd., Central Islip. Gross said that the dog appeared to have been strangled and was hog-tied with wire cable, and the inside of the dog's mouth was burned. The dog was found on Tuesday at approximately 1pm in a black plastic bag.
A necropsy was performed on the dog but at press time, the results were inconclusive
