Thank You!
The results are in; 1,100+ of you completed the CUW alumni attitude survey. Thank you to all of you, from our most recent graduates to our 1960s classes, who took the time to share your input with us. We greatly appreciate your time! Over 500 of you entered the drawing to win an Amazon gift card. The winners were notified by email, so make sure to check your email to see if you are one of the recipients of a gift card. We will work with University key stakeholders in analyzing the data so we can better serve you (our alumni) and our students. Once we process all the information, we will share a summary of the results.
In the meantime, please review this month's e-newsletter to find ways you can get involved and opportunities to network with other CUW alumni. There are plenty of events for you to participate from the academic School reunion Chinooks baseball games on campus, Green Bay area social, LCMS convention all Concordia social, National Youth Gathering New Orleans social, Hall of Fame induction and all alumni Chinooks game, Madison Mallards game and the Milwaukee Athletic Club rooftop social.
Things to watch for in the future include a new School of Business Administration newsletter with an exciting announcement and a new platform for alumni to connect with other alumni, students and faculty. Make sure to keep informed through the CUW alumni Facebook, website and this e-newsletter.

Featured Alumna - Carrie Miller '96
|
Carrie Miller was awarded the Concordia University Distinguished Alumnus award at the spring commencement ceremony. Currently she serves as the principal of Mt. Calvary Lutheran School, an urban Milwaukee school serving 200 children. Throughout Miller's years at Mt. Calvary, the students have consistently received "strong" test scores and continue to do very well academically. This is something Miller has actually made part of her personal mission, as she says, "some people expect our students not to be successful, but I'm determined for this not to be the case." LCMS Convention All Concordia
Social - July 12th 6:00 - 7:30pm

Join alumni from all ten Concordias at a joint alumni reception in the downtown Milwaukee Hyatt VUE restaurant. This event is open to all CUW alumni and especially the ones who will be attending or volunteering for the LCMS National convention.
You will be able to enjoy the view of the Milwaukee skyline from the VUE. Connect with individuals from all over the country as over 2,000 delegates arrive in Milwaukee. Watch for an Alumni Facebook event to indicate you will be attending to give us an estimate of how many individuals might be attending plus you will be able to see who else is attending.

2016 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
All Alumni Chinooks Baseball Game - July 30th

Join other CUW alumni to celebrate our newest inductees to the William C. Ackman Athletic Hall of Fame during the induction ceremony and/or enjoy the company of fellow alumni at the Hall of Fame Chinooks baseball game. Watch as the inductees throw out the first pitch and then enjoy the game, food, beverages and fellowship. The evening will conclude with a fabulous display of fireworks.
