"16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. " John 3:16

As we come to the end of the semester and year, we can look back and thank God for all the blessings we received over this past year. We are thankful for you, our alumni, who are serving in the world. May this Christmas fill your homes with the peace and joy of Christ! May the New Year be a blessing as we work together in serving our students, other alumni and our communities. Enjoy "O Come Emmanuel" song by CUW students.

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Graduation Story
Dan Thompson was a homicide detective with the Milwaukee Police Department and the father of six children when he decided to do something to make his life better. He enrolled at Concordia University through our Miller Parkway Center in 2012 to increase his career advancement opportunities and set an example of hard work and education for his large family.

Three years later, Dan is earning his bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice Management and was the student speaker at Concordia University's mid-year commencement ceremony held on Saturday, Dec. 19.  More than 715 Concordia students joined him in graduating this December.

Mission Trips and Much More!

Students from both Concordia University Wisconsin and Ann Arbor will join together over Spring Break to share the love of Christ by serving those in need in Appalachia, New Orleans, and Guatemala! They serve under the theme "The Body of Christ in Action" based on I Corinthians 12:27.  As members of the body of Christ, we each have unique gifts and roles to play as we join together to serve God's people.

The students going on these mission trips are raising funds for the trip through Concordia University's new crowdfunding platform, CrowdRise. Crowdfunding is the practice of funding a project or event by raising many small amounts of money from a large number of people, mainly through sharing on social media.  CrowdRise is a trusted crowdfunding vendor, used by non-profit organizations worldwide, and is being offered to the Concordia community to facilitate fundraising for non-budgeted University projects and events.

Please join us with your prayers, and consider supporting the mission trips or other projects. To access Concordia's projects, please visit our crowdfunding webpage.

We greatly appreciate any help you can give!  If everyone gave $10, they could meet their goal today!  Once you have given, please share the link with others.  Your support doesn't just get our students there, but provides all the building materials for an entire house in Guatemala and much needed repairs from flood damage in Kentucky and New Orleans and a life changing experience for the students.
