"He changes times and seasons; He deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning." Daniel 2:21
Last week, the traditional undergraduate students enjoyed a few days off before coming back to finish their fall semester. During this break, CUW hosted 250 leaders during the biannual Leadership breakfast series. For a large percentage of the attendees, it was their first time on campus and they commented on our a beautiful campus. Fall is a beautiful time of year at Concordia University with all the changing colors and change of seasons. However, it is really what is inside these buildings, the individuals, that makes CUW beautiful. The kind hearts and minds of the students, faculty, staff and alumni. Times and seasons may change but Concordia and its mission will remain steadfast through the individuals.
In every e-newsletter you will find ways we can be of service to you and ways you can be of service to the students and community. Please review the articles and listings on the left side bar to see how you can become involved or be served.

It is not all about the game, it's much more!
|
In the fall of 2014, Concordia University Wisconsin (CUW) partnered with Bethesda Lutheran Communities, a non-profit agency located in Watertown, Wisconsin, to create a program that would allow young adults with intellectual and other complex disabilities to experience a post-secondary education experience. While the Bethesda program is designed to help students with disabilities learn in a traditional university setting, it also provides opportunity for CUW students, faculty, and staff to grow in their own understanding.
Click here to learn how one student in particular, Will Turner, a junior at CUW and a defensive lineman on the University's football team, is getting the chance to impact his fellow students both on and off the field by working with the Bethesda students. |
