About the Hamburgers and Higher Education Luncheon
The Hamburgers and Higher Education Luncheon is held quarterly to keep the public informed on topical matters related to EWCHEC-Hutto. It is open to the public, and its mission is to cultivate open communication between the Hutto community and EWCHEC-Hutto.
Lunch is $10 (cash or check). If you are able to join us, please RSVP to Erin Klingemann at eklingemann@huttoedc.com or by telephone at 512-759-2806 no later than noon April 26th to ensure a seat.

Hutto Family YMCA to Address the Hutto Community
|
 The Hutto community will hear from the Hutto Family YMCA at the April 11, 2013 Power Breakfast. YMCA representatives will be talking about plans for the future as well as the construction of the new Hutto facility.This event will be held at 7:30am at the Holiday Inn Express in Hutto. Like all Hutto EDC Power Breakfasts, this is a free event open to the public and requires no RSVP to attend.

Bartlett-Cocke General Contractors continue to keep construction on track
|
|
Construction on the East Williamson County Higher Education Center-Hutto is on schedule with an expected opening date of Fall 2013. Bartlett Cocke General Contractors is keeping construction on pace and ahead of schedule. Meetings with college officials are taking place every two weeks and progress on the development can be seen from both SH130 and County Road 108.

Hutto EDC Board of Directors select Finalists for Hutto EDC Executive Director Search
|
The Hutto Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors selected Strategic Government Resources (SGR) to help guide the process of finding a new Executive Director for the Hutto Economic Development Corporation. SGR accepted online applications through February 15, 2013. From the pool of applicants with SGR's guidance, the Hutto EDC Board of Directors has selected FInalists to continue with the interview process. A final decision is expected mid-April.
