It is with mixed feelings that Community Resource Center says farewell to Kelli Mowrey, our Resource Coordinator. While we are sad to see Kelli leave our CRC team, we are happy for her and excited to see where this next step will lead. Kelli first joined CRC in January 2013 and has supported CRC in various ways over the past 2 and a half years. Her contributions have been hugely beneficial to this organization, and she will definitely be missed.
Kelli has accepted a position as a Specialist for the Western Union Foundation, where she will combine her nonprofit sector experience and academic background in international development to support the Foundation's international employee giving and grantmaking programs. Her last day with CRC will be Friday, June 12th.
Please join us in congratulating Kelli, as we wish her much success in her new endeavors.
Please keep an eye out for future job postings with CRC. For any questions about the Colorado Grants Guide, please contact Administrative Coordinator Kiersten Williams.

Learn How VISTAs Could Help Your Region
In June of 2014, Community Resource Center received an AmeriCorps VISTA grant from the Corporation for National and Community Service.
Through this grant, we have brought on 5 VISTA members - 3 in our Denver office and 2 in rural Colorado.
AmeriCorps VISTA members have worked with hundreds of volunteers across the state, planning Rural Philanthropy Days conferences, providing resources, supporting trainings and workshops, and writing grants. VISTA members support communities through RPD to build the capacity of organizations alleviating poverty across Colorado.
As we approach the end of our first VISTA year, we are looking ahead to expand the impact of these AmeriCorps members, particularly in rural communities. Join us for a webinar on Thursday, June 11 at 10AM to learn more about how you and your region can benefit from the additional capacity that AmeriCorps VISTA members provide. Register now for the webinar!
