TV analyst, author and motivational speaker. 

Rising from the ashes of poverty and childhood abuse, Les defeated the odds and rose to prominence by earning a Junior Olympic Gold Medal and playing Major League Baseball. Along with his syndicated sports radio show, "Breakin' the Norm", heard weekly, his high energy presentations inspire others to break through, push forward and become not just what they want to be, but what they never imagined they could be!

Ambassador Nomination Deadline
is June 30th, 2016!  
    
 
An MCB Ambassador is recognized and honored by Missouri Community Betterment as a person who has given years of service to a community betterment organization and has gone above and beyond the expected level of participation in a community betterment organization.  The MCBEF Board has the ability to select up to two new Ambassadors annually.

Nominations can be submitted by MCB community leaders, partner agencies, MCB staff and MCBEF Board members.For guidelines and instruction, please visit the MCB Website.

Nominations are due to MCB no later than July 1, 2016.  Nominations can be mailed to the MCB Office 903 S. 3rd St., Clinton, MO 64735 or e-mailed to Teresa Keller, MCB Director of Operations.
 


Important Notice: 
Judging Form Update

Please note there has been an update to the Community & Youth Entry Forms. 
Previously, at the bottom of the entry form, it said "Please include any news articles and photos".  These items should be submitted with the summary outline form and project narrative instead.

Visit the  MCB Website for the updated entry forms.

Community & Youth Entry Forms and Permission slips are due by:
June 30, 2016. 
All other entry materials are due:
July 31, 2016.
 
Remember:
  • The project submission does not need to be in a binder. 
  • The pages can be paper clipped together.
  • The Adult and Youth Leadership Awards Nominees do not have to be from a community that enters the Judging.
  • A "Project Book" is not required.  See the "2016 Project Report Guidelines" to learn more.
  • Answers to frequently asked questions can be found here.
