For the second year in a row we are hosting TechEDGE - a regional business and education conference featuring trends in technology and innovation - that offers a dynamic opportunity to learn from expert speakers, celebrate innovators, and network with others in the business and technology community. TechEDGE 2013 will combine regional technology awards with themed presentations from local and statewide business, education and technology leaders throughout the day, culminating in a casual business networking event in the evening.  Centra's summer Medical Careers Camp and Health Career Camp at Virginia Baptist Hospital provides a week of mentored experience for 24 middle school students (rising seventh and eighth graders) interested in exploring the exciting world of Healthcare Careers. Students have an opportunity to explore the various facets of Healthcare and the connection with math and science skills and knowledge. The Future Focus Foundation and the Region 2000 Technology Council are excited to announce the fourth annual season of the Lynchburg Regional Junior FIRST LEGO League. There is a limited number of team sponsorships available so make sure to get your request in early. Save The Date!
