Pick Your Bracket!

It's time to complete your brackets!

The first thing you will need to do is sign in or create an identity on the ESPN site (it's free, easy, and relatively scant on junk e-mails).

Here is the link, group name, and password for our March Mission Madness.

When you follow this link, you will see the options to either "Get Started" (that's how to sign up for ESPN) or "Log In" (if you already have an ESPN account).

This Section is for those of us who are new and just signing up with ESPN:

When you click on "Get Started", you will taken to a screen where you will enter your name and email address.  You will be asked to create a username (several options will be suggested or come up with your own)  and a password.  You also have options for newsletters and other stuff from ESPN.  Be sure to "unclick" those options if you are not interested.  So complete this screen and click on submit.  The easiest next step is to go back to the original link below and click on that again.  This time, you will be taken to our group page with the invitation to join the group.   Click "Get Started" and your ready to work on your bracket.

This sounds like a lot of work but its all goes pretty quickly and didn't confuse a novice like Janet.  To choose your bracket, choices are listed for each game.  Click on your winner and you'll see it on the next bracket.  Just continue like this until you complete the entire bracket.

Steve Perryman will be at church tonight at 7:00 in the Gathering Place to help you complete your bracket.  All of this happens on-line but Steve might be willing to do it all on paper with you as well.  As long as you are comfortable with the on-line process, there is no need to see Steve tonight - but the comradery of picking your bracket with others is always fun.

As for payment, you can either put an envelope with $10 cash, your name, and the name of the mission partner you're playing for in the offering or you can write a check with "MMM" and the name of the mission partner you're playing for in the offering.  Checks can also be mailed to the office.  We will be happy to accept more than one bracket per person as long as each bracket is accompanied by a payment of $10.

Mission Partner choices:  Family Promise, Pine Springs Camp, Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA), Soldier's Angels, Greater Washington County Food Bank
