JeffHomecoming Luncheon and Golf Classic Honors

Dr. Jeffrey P. Bartkovich

The MCC Foundation is hosting a special luncheon and golf classic honoring Dr. Jeffrey P. Bartkovich, interim provost and vice president for Academic Services at MCC. Jeff's career at MCC has spanned 24 years during which he has been responsible for creating an innovative and high-quality learning environment that promotes academic excellence and student success.

Led by event sponsor Pivcon President Brett Thompson '91 and a special Honorary Committee, our goal is to raise $6,000 in support of a special scholarship fund Jeff and his colleagues started in 2001.

Join Us! Register for lunch, nine holes of golf or both! Luncheon only tickets are $40. Golf and lunch tickets are $65. Those unable to participate but wish to make an honorary gift can do so online.

We hope you will be part of this exciting event on Thursday, August 13, at Eagle Vale Golf Club. Enjoy a hot buffet lunch at 12:30 pm and golfers will tee-off (scramble format) at 2:00 pm.

CSCrime Stoppers, MCC Foundation Award Scholarships to MCC Students

Crime Stoppers was proud to award scholarships to three MCC criminal justice students in May in memory of the late Fairport Police Chief Maureen Chisholm '78. Chisholm was the first female police chief in Monroe County, a great supporter of MCC, and a member of the MCC Alumni Hall of Fame. Chief Chisholm died after a long battle with leukemia this past January. Her legacy and dedication to service continue to inspire MCC students.
