Tim Wentworth '80 and MCC's first cohort of Wentworth Family Scholars.

A $2.25 million gift to the Monroe Community College Foundation from alumni Robin '80 and Timothy '80 Wentworth (Franklin Lakes, N.J.) will provide full scholarships to 40 MCC students each year. The gift is the largest in the college and Foundation's history.

The gift establishes the Wentworth Family Scholarship program at MCC, an endowed fund that gives students opportunities to start their college education. The first cohort of Wentworth Family Scholars - aspiring computer scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs and health care professionals from across our community - have already been selected.

ROCPrepare to ROC the Day for MCC!

ROC the Day is a community-wide, 24-hour period of online giving.  Please consider logging on to www.ROCtheDay.org  on Wednesday, 12.11.13 in support of the MCC Foundation.  Last year more than $875,000 was raised in the Rochester community to support area nonprofit organizations.  We hope you plan to ROC with us!

If you can't wait to ROC the Day and want to make a gift to the MCC Foundation on Giving Tuesday, we invite you to visit our website to make a donation. As always, thank you for your support.

Support the 2013-2014 Annual Fund for MCC

Giving students hope and a place to start is Why We're Here.

When you support the annual fund, you help bridge the gap between a student's resources and the cost of tuition.  Last year we provided nearly 700 scholarships to deserving students, including 20 new scholarships.  This year, with your help, we will grow our scholarship base even more.

Thank you for giving our students a chance to succeed!
