Follow Up

6 Ways to be More Effective at Work

Whether you are working with a co-worker, client or vendor, it is imperative that you follow up. Let them know how things are going, and give them timely feedback. Doing so enables you to manage their expectations in “real time” (rather than after the fact), keep yourself and the project on track, and correct any mistakes more quickly. Being a person of integrity and reliability is crucial to being more effective at work, because if not, all your other efforts may be erased.
