Be A Resource

We are sharing six ways you can be more effective at work. Number Five: Be a resource. Let people know that they can come to you whenever necessary to discuss relevant issues. And when they do, pay attention. Really pay attention. Encouraging interaction and then not paying attention is worse than not encouraging the interaction in the first place. You must be available to listen to them, answer their questions, and provide guidance when needed. The more you can become a resource and a trusted partner for your co-workers, clients, and vendors, the more valuable you become to your organization.
