Join the blanket brigade

The Day Resource Center will operate overflow night shelter on an as-needed basis this winter, and you can help. We'll need a steady supply of blankets for overflow shelter guests. Join our blanket brigade with your gift of a blanket, and help us offer a warm welcome when night shelters reach capacity.

Special gifts

The faithful have a special gift for hospitality, and hundreds give it through an innovative shelter ministry known as Room in the Inn.

A ministry of 22 local churches and the Day Resource Center for the Homeless, Room in the Inn opens hearts and houses of worship to the homeless when need is greatest. It opens minds too.

Because there's Room in the Inn:

  • Volunteers can serve their neighbors in a way that brings faith to life.
  • Homeless men and women enjoy safe, supportive fellowship with their hosts.
  • Night shelters can better manage demand for beds when outdoor temperatures reach dangerous extremes and shelter matters most.

Learn more, then celebrate our Room in the Inn shelter ministry with a special holiday gift to the Day Resource Center.

Giving is easy: donate online, text and give, or mail your gift to Day Resource Center for the Homeless, P.O. Box 0871, Fort Worth, TX 76101.

Rest assured your gifts make a life-changing difference for people who have the least and need the most. Please give today.
