From Philly Achilles
The Philadelphia Rock & Roll Half Marathon last Sunday gave rise to several great performances from Philly Achilles athletes and volunteer guides. Four athletes received finish medals, two of them with new PRs under their belts! Congratulations to all of our athletes and volunteers that participated, and a big shout out to everyone who came out to cheer them on!
Represent Achilles!
This Saturday September 27th we will be representing Achilles at the Global Abilities Rec Fest from 10:00-3:00. This event, taking place at the Carousel House, showcases local opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Come out (adults and kids alike!) and experience all the fun, or email marketing@phillyachilles.com if you're still interested in volunteering with us.
