Tomorrow, September 11th, is our second annual Philly Achilles/FBR fundraiser - this time at McGillin's Old Ale House. Run over with the Fishtown Beer Runners, or meet us up in the 2nd floor room any time after 5:30pm. Food and drink specials are available with the purchase of a $5 wristband at the door. We will also have some great raffles going on throughout the night with all proceeds going to Philly Achilles. Grab some friends and join us, both runners and non-runners welcome!! Earn yourself a few treats this Saturday, 9/13, by joining us for a special Saturday morning workout. It's our two year anniversary celebration! We will have a small presentation before the workout followed by some refreshments afterwards (Insomnia Cookies included!). Help us celebrate two great years, and look forward to many more.

We have been given the fantastic opportunity to represent Achilles at the Global Abilities Rec Fest on September 27th for the third year in a row! The Rec Fest is and event at The Carousel House that showcases local opportunities for individuals with disabilities. It's a fun event with plenty of activities for all to participate in. We are looking for volunteers to represent us at our table and recruit new members, from 10:00am -7:00 pm. Treats to all who participate! Email marketing@phillyachilles.com if you are interested. Our next race is September 21st. Come out and cheer on our Achilles athletes and volunteers participating in the Rock 'n Roll Philly Half Marathon. Wear your green shirts, pick a spot along the course, and be loud!
