Volunteers needed!

 

As fall race season approaches, we're expecting more and more athletes to come out on Saturdays to train with Philly Achilles - yippee! However, that also means we need to beef up our pool of guides. What better way to volunteer your time - while helping others, you get the added benefits of inspiration, friendships and personal fitness! We love our regulars, but we know you guys have friends, and we want every athlete to be able to participate!

 

  

 

So, chat up Achilles (don't forget to point them to our website and Facebook page), invite a group of your friends to come run/walk with us, and let's try to get some newbies out here. ALL FITNESS LEVELS are welcome so don't feel intimidated even if you are a beginner. And if you are a seasoned distance runner or speedster, not to worry - you will still be challenged at one of our workouts! 

 

 

  

 

If you haven't been to a workout yet, go to the website www.phillyachilles.com to get a member/volunteer form and bring it with you. We meet at the Cigna building at 1601 Chestnut Street every Saturday at 9am. Email [email protected] if you'd like more information about volunteering.

 
     
  
  
Don't forget! Our fall season kicks off with the Ouch! Race on August 24th. There are plenty more to follow, including the Rock 'n Roll Philly Half; Philly Full, Half, and 8K; and even the Trenton Half Marathon.
