Philly Achilles rocked NYC over the weekend at the 11th Annual Achilles Hope & Possibility 5-miler.  We had nearly 40 athletes and volunteers representing our chapter in this run through Central Park on Sunday.  Despite the heat, crowds, and hills, everyone made it through with a smile on their faces (ok, at least we smiled in relief to be done!).  And no other finish line is more inspiring, with athletes from around the world overcoming barriers to complete this challenging race.  A truly moving and  meaningful weekend for everyone involved.

On Saturday evening Achilles International hosted their annual gala at the Union League Club in NYC and honored Cigna CEO David Cordani for his commitment to the Achilles organization.  Check out this video they created as a tribute, which spotlights Philly Achilles!
