Achilles International Philadelphia is partnering with City Sports to host a free training run on October 27th. Achilles runners and volunteers can choose from 20-mile, 10-mile or 4-mile options that will tour the city from the Navy Yard to Boathouse Row.
This event is part of the City Sports annual Philadelphia Marathon training
program. Runners participating in the 20 and 10-mile events will meet at the City Sports location at 1608 Walnut Street by 7:30 a.m. The run gets underway at 8:00 a.m. and includes various pace groups.
For the 4-mile event, designed for Achilles athletes and designed for fun, participants will meet at 9:00 a.m. at Philadelphia Sports Club (PSC) at 1735 Market Street and will take off at 9:30 a.m. Athletes and volunteers can complete the four miles at their own pace, whether they choose to run, walk or roll!
The runs all finish at PSC, where there will be breakfast, prizes and giveaways!
This is an entirely free event. Please RSVP to Melissa Wilcox at
