Undergraduate Merit Scholarship

The Institute of International Studies (IIS) Undergraduate Merit Scholarship supports undergraduate research in any area of international studies. Research may be conducted independently, in congruence with an honors thesis, or while studying abroad.

September iMix:   Craft Night!
Wednesday, Sept. 30  |  5 - 7pm  |  @International House

Join us for this monthly social event and mingle with new and continuing students from around the world! Both international and domestic students are welcome. Feel free to invite your friends!


This month, engage the artist in yourself and get ready for some back-to-school-themed crafts. Craft projects will include creating vision boards, Berkeley Bear art, and some mind-blowing adult coloring sheets! As always, refreshments are provided.

iMix is a monthly social event hosted by the Berkeley International Office where you can meet and engage with your fellow global students at UC Berkeley. Can't make this one? No worries - join us next month!

Career Connections 
Networking Events
The Career Center has teamed up with the Cal Alumni Association in developing a series of 20+ casual networking events during the coming year that help students make connections and gain clarity in their career pursuits.  

At each of these events, a diverse group of 10-20 Cal alumni & professionals will share their career insight and help illustrate the variety of jobs & internships offered within specific industries or career fields.  This is a great opportunity for students to practice their networking skills in a low-stress setting!
