Dear Bayside Friend,
Good morning and welcome to Day 12 of the 12 days of giving. We hope you have enjoyed reading the personal stories that we have shared with you over the past 12 days. We hope that these stories have provided you an opportunity to have a closer look at the personal experiences of real people and better understand Bayside Community Center's programs and mission. If you have already given, we greatly thank you. If you have not yet had a chance, please consider donating today!
DAY 12
Advocacy
Resident Leadership Academy
Teresa* was born and raised in Linda Vista. Young and disaffected, Teresa was indifferent to the future of her community prior to joining the Linda Vista Resident Leadership Academy (RLA). With newly acquired knowledge and community support that she gained in the program, she is now passionate about advocating for the future of Linda Vista and works to help make positive change happen.
Teresa's enthusiasm is contagious and she was recently elected as a leader of the Linda Vista RLA. The opportunity to become a leader in the organization has dramatically increased Teresa's confidence, motivation and accountability. She has a bright future as community leader and advocate.
. Please consider donating today to continue empowering an individual like Teresa.
We've simplified the donation procedure, allowing supporters to donate on line through our new FirstGiving page.
