In November we are thankful, grateful and appreciative.
Thankful for the JFHML Staff and Friends Foundation, grateful for the many Volunteers who are dedicated to their community Library, and appreciative of our Patrons who celebrate the services we are able to provide.
We also become invigorated at this time of year, because this is when we ask our supporters to participate in our JINGLE BOOKS fundraising program.

What is Jingle Books? It is the annual giving campaign conducted by the JFHML Friends to raise funds to purchase books, eBooks, audiobooks and periodical titles for 2015.
Last year the Library raised $6700 with the help of a Hallett Trust matching grant.  This year, once again, your DONATION WILL BE DOUBLED by the generosity of the Hallett Trust.
This fundraiser begins on Give-To-The-Max Day at 12:01 a.m. on Thursday, November 13.

Go on line to https://givemn.org/organization/Jfhml-Friends-Foundation to make the donation of your choice. On GTMD, there are opportunities to be eligible for hourly drawings of $1,000 to your charity of choice. Gifts can be given online with a credit card, or in person at the Library at 101 1st St SE, Crosby, MN~ checks are made payable to the JFHML Friends Foundation. Join with us as we raise the funds to provide reading material in all formats to all ages for years to come! Your donation is tax deductible and remember it will be DOUBLED! The Jingle Books campaign runs through December 31, 2014.

WE THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR BOOTS!

     WE DID IT-With YOUR Help!

     WE SHELVED OUR GAP!

  null

IN TEN MONTHS THE HALLETT LIBRARY HAS RAISED $35,000+!

Each year we need to raise $35,000 to cover our funding gap. We are an independent public Library supported by the Hallett Trust (70%) and the City of Crosby (10%)---The rest (20%) is up to us! We keep an ongoing display at the front charging desk where we "Shelve the Gap"...each book shelved represents $1,000 raised. Last week we reached our GOAL for 2014! We are proud to partner with each and every one of you. By working together ANYTHING is possible! We thank our partnership with the Hallett Trust, the JFHML Friends Foundation, C-I School District #182, and the following Cities and Townships who give generously each year to support the JFHML: Cities of Cuyuna, Deerwood, Ironton & Riverton. Townships of Deerwood, Fairfield, Irondale and Wolford. These contributions matter. THANK YOU!!!

A note of GOOD NEWS~
