Greetings!

Happy New Year from the JFHML!

As we begin our 36th year of service to the Cuyuna Lakes area, we hope to continue to provide just the thing you need, before you are even aware that you need it! We will offer BOOKS! E-BOOKS! AUDIOBOOKS! MAGAZINES! I-PADS! HI SPEED INTERNET! PROGRAMMING FOR ADULTS AND YOUTH! TAX HELP! VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES! The Staff, Library Board and Friends Foundation will be busy in 2014 with some exciting new projects.
With a generous grant from the Hallett Charitable Trust, a special committee of Friends will be working together with Kerri Erikstrup of K&M Signs to create an electronic sign on the highway, which will help your community hub of connectivity (JFHML) advertise events and items of interest for all ages.  We are VERY EXCITED about the possibilities this will offer us!

We also plan to improve our Youth Areas within the Library. In our children's area, we will be having a contest to name this space, and will create an activity wall & play area, along with Leap Pads and other fun interactive learning materials.  We also will be updating our teen area "Curbside" with a wall-mounted TV.

Happy New Year!
