"What is more important to a library than anything else -
than everything else - is the fact that it exists."
Jessie F. Hallett Memorial Library

Greetings!

Partnerships are happening all around us!

By working together we expand what we have to offer and the gifts multiply! Our essential partnership with the Hallett Trust and the vision Mr. Hallett had when creating a living memoral to his wife and partner, Jessie, is where it all began.  We continue to work with the City of Crosby, Ironton, Deerwood, Riverton, Cuyuna and surrounding townships to adequately fund the services, materials and technology we provide. Our e-book partnerships continue to expand---along with the Otto Bremer Foundation, CRMC, and the Crosby-Ironton Schools, we now provide close to 1300 ebook titles of all genres for your enjoyment. If you have an electronic reader and you are not quite sure how to navigate the digital book world, bring your device (ipad, Nook, Kindle, etc.) in and our Whiz Kid Student Worker, Abby Smith, will get you set up and ready to read from our vast collection.

Abby is available on Mondays 4-6 and Tuesdays 4-8.

  ipads
In late February the JFHML & Friends Foundation launched their ipad program.  With the generosity of an Otto Bremer Foundation "ACCESS4ALL" grant, the Library now has 10 ipads available for in-house checkout for up to 4 hours. Each i-pad is pre-loaded with 57 apps for your enjoyment. The C-I Courier has made their on-line Courier available on each of our ipads.
We value this partnership also.
Check out an i-pad today!
