It's Back to School Time!
School Starts September 8th.  Read on to find out about SCHOOL SUPPLIES and the Island Park fall 2015-2016 PARENT PACK!
School Supplies
School Supplies will be ordered in bulk again this year by Island Park staff.  This system, followed by all three elementary schools, will assure that all students, even those who enroll later in the year, have the same supplies right from their first day of school. Supplies will be kept in the classrooms and replenished as needed. All supplies are retained and reused from year to year to help reduce waste. The fee for supplies is $35 PER STUDENT & will be included in the fall Parent Pack.

Again this year our Island Park PTA Back-to-School forms & payments are ONLINE! Look for an email on Friday, September 4th with a link to the online registration and payment form.
 
Inside your Back-to-School E-Parent Pack you will find:

  • PTA Membership info ($25 single / $30 family) 
  • Special Classroom Fee info ($20/student)
  • Eagle Books donation opportunity
  • PTA Fundraising/Ask Campaign
The 2015-16 Island Park PTA will continue our ambitious fundraising goal of $260,000 in order to continue our commitment to our Learning Support programs, e.g. Para-Professionals, and fully fund our PTA General Operating Fund programs, e.g. Field Trips, Teacher Professional Development, Arts Enrichment, Science Fun Night. We are striving for 100% participation from our Island Park families in order to meet these goals. In the e-Parent Pack, we will give you the first opportunity to help fund these programs.
