Gary Plano - Superintendent's November Announcements

The Mercer Island School District has an exciting and important month ahead
This November the Mercer Island Schools Foundation conducts its Annual Phon-a-Thon Campaign. The funds raised have an immediate and tangible impact on Mercer Island students. Donations reach all Mercer Island schools and every one of the district's 4,120 students. Last year over $430,000 in funding was raised to support academic excellence and new curriculum, textbooks, classroom materials, enrichment, and provided professional development for Mercer Island teachers and student support programs. Please answer the your phones on November 12 and 13 beginning in the early evening. As volunteers, many teachers, principals and other school staff will be contacting families that evening.
