July 2013 Newsletter
QTS Van The average July temperature in Phoenix is 103 - and fully 30% of the hours of the day are considered 'sweltering'! The rest are just - "really, really, hot".  :)

But that doesn't stop our team from carrying thousands of passengers each month - efficiently and safely to their destinations. To make the rides even more comfortable, please watch for new shading and window treatments on our vehicles.

At QTS we pride ourselves on our professional team, a late model fleet, the best on-time performance in the industry, and our 24 hours a day, 7 days a week availability.

If you haven't ridden with us lately, please give us a call. And if you are a regular customer or passenger - Thank You.

Some people believe that intellect is what counts most: knowing how to solve problems, knowing how to get by, knowing how to identify an advantage and seize it. But the functions of intellect are insufficient without courage, love, friendship, compassion and empathy.  - Dean Koontz

The professional Non-Emergency Medical Transportation companies in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area have formed a new association called the Arizona Medical Transportation Association or AZMTA.

The Association will promote safety, training, and regulatory initiatives to ensure our industry continues to operate at the highest levels of quality for all our customers.

Please watch for more information in the near future, and watch for the seal of safety and quality from the AZMTA on your NEMT vehicles from your vendor of choice.

1. What does QTS stand for?

QTS is a big hearted, compassionate, loving and caring company. Not only do we feel that towards our passengers, but also their loved ones and the health care professionals that we have the privilege of working with each day.

2. What makes QTS different?

We are obsessed with service, like being on time, every time. Our team loves what they do and our passengers tell us it shows.

The overall culture and environment is very positive. The drivers are full-time employees instead the standard commission structure that the NEMT industry uses.

Being a full-time employee with PTO and benefits allow us to have a life outside of QTS and the time to build strong relationships with our passengers and clients.

3.  What do you appreciate about the culture?

I'm thankful for the positive work environment that management has created and our team contributes to. The open door policy, the regular recognition of a job well done, and the feeling that management is truly proud of us and the quality of service we provide.

My co-workers and the management team truly care about our passengers, their physical and emotional struggles, and although it may seem insignificant, the goal is to make their time with us the best possible and most pleasant experience.

4.  What inspires you about the role you perform?

Being present with passengers and family members as they approach the time to leave this world as we know it. It makes you appreciate life and the people who love and support you.

5.  What would you like the clients know about QTS?

We care about them. We work to understand what they need and how we can help. We feel like we've succeeded when we hear that a member of our team or staff in general made someone's day and/or was able to turn a  negative experience into a positive one.
