Hammo Family 2014

Hammo for Families
Hammonasset Family celebrates it's second year after a fantastic start in 2013.

This year we return to  the same section of the campsite as we did last year.  We heard feedback from the group that this worked well.

We also want to provide more opportunities for people to connect with God and one another.  We will start the weekend with a meet and greet and a campfire with devotions on Friday night.  Saturday morning will be activities for the families. In the afternoon families can participate in the Climbing Wall.  After the Saturday afternoon freetime (or naptime) we plan to have a game time for the kids around 4:00 while some of the adults set up a Family Hammo Potluck  for 5:00, wrapping up that night with a "good bye" campfire after the concert. In addition we will be joining regular Hammo for Worship and the featured speakers, Bishop Hazelwood and  two of our Synod mission developers around the theme HELD.

Youth Encounter is still looking for ministry-minded young adults to fill spots on the 2014-2015 Nationally Traveling Captive Free teams!

Know any recent HS grads or college students who have a heart for music? Love adventure? Are stoked to travel? Are interested in encouraging and inspiring faith in youth and young adults? Are fueled by the Gospel? Or are thirsting to get out into the world and live out an active faith in every moment of the day?

One of the remaining spots in our year-long Team ministry program could be exactly what they're waiting for!

If your heart came alive and a young adult you know came to mind when reading the questions above, please don't hesitate to check out the website below and let them know about the opportunity and the online application: www.youthencounter.org/join.
