Liberating Generosity Stewardship Workshop: March 15-16, 2013
How would it feel to focus on the mission and ministry of your church instead of constant fundraising?
True stewardship is always challenging and often difficult; but if practiced, can be liberating to the mission and ministry of your congregation. Join us in an exploration of how to unleash generosity in your church!
Who should attend: stewardship committees and chair people, vestry members, trustees, church council members and other elected leaders, educators, pastors, and everyone interested in using money faithfully.

"How to Talk About Money with Theological Integrity"
Webinar: Tuesday, January 29th at 2pm Eastern Time
A 90-Minute, Live Webinar Featuring Bill Enright. Jesus had much to say about money and the faithful use of possessions; in fact the Bible has more to say about this subject than love or prayer. Ironically, most pulpits are silent when it comes to money-talk except for the annual stewardship or "we-need-your-money" sermon. How different might the financial health of most American congregations be if clergy knew how to talk about money with theological integrity and pastoral sensitivity?

From the Synod Office
On January 18, 2013 the 2013-2014 congregational Mission Support remittance forms were mailed to the attention of the Treasurer. If your congregation did not receive them please notify Cathy Schlichte at receptionist@nesynod.org. We appreciate the consistent use of these forms when Mission Support is submitted as they greatly aid the financial department with the allocation process.
