Christmas 2012 Message
Christmas 2012 Message
We have received numerous messages from individuals and congregations, literally around the world. They all want to know that we are in their prayers. Some of them have offered to send donations. Therefore, we have set up a fund. All donations will be used to support one of the families in one of our sister congregations. Christ the King Lutheran Church, an LC-MS congregation, has had two funerals for children this past week. Any donations we receive will be forwarded to the congregation with the understanding that it is at their discretion as to how to use the funds to assist the families. Donations may be sent to:

New England Synod
attn: Newtown Fund
PO Box 13
Worcester, MA 01614

As I have had conversations with clergy and lay leaders in the area, we've also come to realize that there are many other places around New England where your donations can be given. Perhaps you would like to support an need in your own community, and make the gift in honor or memory of those who have died in Newtown.
