Thanks for making the Night-in-Blue Alumnae Ticket Challenge a success!
The Class of 1964 maintained a convincing lead for the last few weeks and won with more than 60 women purchasing one or more NIB tickets. The women of 1964 who purchased tickets will receive their Magnificat treat in the mail soon! The Class of 1972 finished second place with 20 woman purchasing tickets, and the Class of 1961 finished strong in third place.

Overall, the school finished at 146 percent of goal in sponsorships, ticket and ad sales! More than 430 alumnae supported Night-in-Blue, and twenty-eight alumnae satisfied full quotas ($230)!
Retreat Advent Retreat--The Promises and Hope of Christmas: Entering in to the Heart of the Matter
Monday, November 30, 6:30-8 p.m.
Light Supper: 5:45-6:15 p.m.
Join Sister Helen Jean Novy, H.M., VP of Mission, and Moira Hickey Clark '77, Dean of Student Life and Formation, on Monday, November 30 for guided reflection, time to pray personally, and inspirational preparation for the deeper meanings of Christmas. Come early to share in a simple supper. Then gather in Chapel where all generations come to praise, reflect, and pray in support of one another. Please register below by November 23. There is no charge for this event, but good-will offerings will be gratefully accepted. All are welcome.

Thursday, December 3, 5-9 p.m.
Grab your friends and join us for a night out of holiday shopping fun. There will be more than 40 vendors, and new this year--two options for admission. Advance registration of $25 will include heavy hors d'oeuvres from Italian Creations, one drink ticket and one raffle ticket. Pay at the door registration will $5, but it won't include food, beverages or a raffle ticket. A cash bar will be available. Check out the list of vendors on the Holly Market facebook page. SantaAnnual Breakfast with Santa

 and Bedding Drive

Saturday, December 5, 10 a.m. to Noon

Join Santa and his elves at the Alumnae Board's Annual Breakfast with Santa. Enjoy a pancake breakfast, face painting, crafts and Christmas merriment, and take advantage of professional photos with Santa by Lifetouch. Breakfast for $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 3-10. Children 2 years old and under will get a pancake, fruit and beverage for free. Photos are $10, which includes one 5X7" and four wallet-sized photos. This event is open to the public, but registration is necessary. Please register below by November 27, or call 440.331.1572. Register early as this event is popular and typically sells out!
 
Editor's Note: In past years, the Alumnae Board collected toys at this event for Villa Montessori, but the school is no longer open. This year, we're collecting items to give the gift of comfort and warmth to children from all over the world whose families are being resettled here in Cleveland. Please consider a gift of new twin sheets, pillows or blankets for children being served by the Migration and Refugee Services Program of Catholic Charities.

Magnifi-yoga Returns
for a Winter Session

Tuesday, December 8, 7 p.m.

To promote wellness and a spirit of lifelong learning, the Magnificat Young Alumnae Committee welcomes all alumnae back "OM" to Magnificat for another Magnifi-yoga event! The class will be led by Liz Albanese Hjort '05 in the Large Group Instruction Room (LGI) and will be appropriate for all levels of skill and experience p.m. Please dress comfortably and bring a water bottle and yoga mat. The event is free, but goodwill offerings will be accepted to benefit the Angels in Blue Fund, which helps Magnificat families who need assistance with school-related expenses.
