The Value of Exterior Insulation, EIFS 101

Attendees will hear one hour of HSW credit.

Learning Objectives:

Outline and recognize positive attributes of EIFS such as enhanced R-Value, dew point management and improved energy efficiency.
Define and fully understand EIFS from substrate to finish coating.
Examine how EIFS fits into today's sustainable design practices and attaining LEED credits.
Distinguish how EIFS claddings through life cycle analysis can reduce the environmental impact / carbon footprint of a building envelope vs other cladding.

Call for Nominations: 2017 AIA Architecture Tour

AIA Architecture Week will take place April 17-23, 2017, with the annual AIA Architecture Tour taking place on Saturday, April 22.

The application to submit projects for the 2017 Tour can be found HERE. The deadline to submit nominations is December 16, 2016. All projects must be 100% complete or set to be complete by February 1, 2017 to be considered for the 2017 Tour.
