December was a busy month! We started with the Open House on Dec. 3, then took part in the Chamber of Commerce holiday showcase, and then went to Barnes and Noble to giftwrap!
Community Open House

Our Annual Community Open House, held on Saturday, Dec.3, was a wonderful event! We were worried about the weather, but it cleared up and everyone came! Over 250 people enjoyed the music and activities. Five school groups performed. Thanks to all who helped. We're looking forward to next year!

Chamber of Commerce Holiday Business Showcase

We took part in this great event and it was lots of fun. Clara manned our table and gave out info on the Friends and the Library. We donated a box of books as one of the door prizes. And Santa and Mrs. Claus made an appearance!

Barnes and Noble Giftwrapping

 On Thursday, Dec. 15 several of us worked at the local Barnes and Noble offering complimentary giftwrapping. We had fun, met a lot of great folks, and spread the word about our great library. And we received $211.72 in donations.
