April, May and June mark significant concerts for the Pacifica Quartet as they make appearances in Chicago, New York and Japan. On April 24 they bring their remarkable 17-year tenure as the first ever Don Michael Randel Ensemble-in-Residence with the University of Chicago to a close. The final concert features works by Mozart, Shostakovich and Beethoven. Later in the spring, the Pacifica heads to Japan for a highly anticipated Shostakovich cycle at Yokohama's Salvia Hall.
