MOMS Orange County

Welcomes New

Board President

JAMES OWENS

"Wouldn't it be amazing if every community had a MOMS Orange County?"

Please join us in congratu-lating James Owens as the newly elected President of the MOMS Orange County Board of Directors.
James is an associate vice president and financial advisor at Morgan Stanley in Santa Ana, and has served on our Board for five years. He became interested in supporting us when he was introduced to our CEO, Pam Pimentel, at a Santa Ana Rotary Club meeting. James was attracted to our mission because it seemed very noble and pure at heart. "Who can say no to a mission like that?" he laughed.
As our board president, James brings numerous skills. Using his finance background, he has a keen eye for interpreting macro-level financial data, and using that data to help the board make informed decisions which will ensure the long-term sustainability of MOMS Orange County. James is also a careful listener, and is not afraid to ask difficult questions. He is adept at relaying our story to people outside of the non-profit and health industries, and continually seeks new ways to grow the impact of our organization. James muses, "Wouldn't it be amazing if every community could have a MOMS Orange County?"
In his free time, James enjoys both listening to Jazz and playing Jazz on his saxophone, gardening, and spending time with his two children and wife. He reputedly emphasizes what a great honor it is to serve on the board of directors of such a committed organization. We are proud to call James our new board president, and look forward to growing MOMS Orange County under his leadership.
