Dr. Candice Taylor Lucas, MPH presented research about how mothers can reduce their baby's risk of becoming obese and prevent a lifetime of disease through healthy habits during pregnancy and the first year of life. Dr. Taylor Lucas echoed the education that MOMS Orange County shares with its clients including the importance of breastfeeding exclusively, and the promotion of infant play and exercise.
Andrea Lunel, was recognized as our 2014 Client Mother of the Year for her enthusiastic participation in the program and her efforts towards creating friendships and a lifelong support system with other mothers she met through MOMS Orange County's Mommy & Me classes.
