Join Us For the Holidays & Help Families in Need
The Holidays will be here before we know it and we hope you will keep MOMS Orange County in mind as you plan your holiday giving.
Here are the programs we will be offering for donors who would like to help families enrolled in our program.
ADOPT-A FAMILY | |
"We really appreciate everything! It means a lot to us!" ~2012 Adopt a Family Client
|
Our home visitors have nominated families who can benefit from your help during the holidays. We will match you with a nominated family and provide a wish-list for each family member. Gifts can be delivered to our facility between December 9 - 17th.
Diaper need is real for many struggling families trying to make ends meet. Let's help keep babies comfortable, clean and dry! Groups are encouraged to coordinate diaper drives and deliver donations to MOMS Orange County to be distributed to client families.

Little Monsters 2013
Thank You Disneyland Resort!
|
The Disneyland Resort held its Little Monsters event on October 9th. Cast members and their children (in costume of course) had the park all to themselves, and were encouraged to bring new and gently used baby items to help client families enrolled in our program. A total of 18 large boxes filled with baby items was collected. A special thank you to Karlos Siqueiros, Agar Yanulaytis and Lydia Gardner (pictured above right), from the Disney VoluntEARS Leadership Council, and Disney Ambassadors
Sachiko White and Megan Navarette for lending their great positive energy to the evening!

Thank You Sempra , Allergan & United Way!
|
MOMS Orange County is honored to have been invited to two employee giving events in the past few weeks. The Southern California Gas Company invited us to their lunchtime charity fair on September 24th where employees participating in the Orange County Sempra Employees Giving Network could learn more about our organization.
We were also selected to be a part of a United Way giving event, held at Allergan Pharmaceuticals HQ in Irvine, last Friday. Over 500 employees participated, and were able to learn about the mission of MOMS Orange County. In addition, numerous employees helped assemble tie blankets (as seen above) which we will distribute to families in need as cold winter months approach. See more photos from the event HERE.

Thank You Hanna Andersson
|
We would also like to thank Hanna Andersson clothing stores for their generous donation of over 900 books! The store in Fashion Island has partnered with us for four years, and donated over 700 books this year. The Mission Viejo store partnered with us for the first time this year, and donated 235 books.

Children who are read to from a young age are much more likely to meet developmental milestones and do well in school, and these books will be passed directly to client families in need.
