Hi Everyone! My name is Claudia Franco and I am one of a four member Program Support team here at MOMS Orange County. I greet classroom attendees, answer the phone, provide general support for our education and home visitation program, handle in-kind donation intake, call clients to remind them about upcoming class appointments, and am generally the first person anyone sees when they walk into the doors of our facility. Needless to say, my job is multifaceted, and requires me to utilize many different skills. My journey with MOMS Orange County started a few years ago when I was a client. Breastfeeding Awareness Walk
|
The MOMS Orange County 3rd annual Breastfeeding Awareness Walk was a resounding success! Over 100 people attended, including staff, clients, board members and The Orange County Breastfeeding Coalition. Groups walked from the MOMS Orange County facility to the corner of Flower and Santa Ana Blvd and back. Along the way, they chanted, waved signs, prompted cars to honk, and created quite the buzz in the community. After the walk, participants enjoyed refreshments and were recognized for their breastfeeding success.

Volunteers Needed For 2 Hours In September

2013 FESTIVAL OF CHILDREN
MOMS Orange County will host an information booth and provide a craft activity for kids at the annual Festival of Children at South Coast Plaza - a month-long celebration showcasing nonprofit organizations focused on helping children, and featuring over 100 activities, workshops, performances and celebrity appearances.
If you'd like to be a part of this great event, volunteer shifts are still available below. Each 2-hour shift requires two people so grab a friend and earn some volunteer hours while having fun making crafts with kids!
Sat, 9/14 & Sun, 9/15: 12-2pm and 2-4pm
Sat, 9/21 & Sunday, 9/22: 12-2pm and 2-4pm
Sat, 9/29 & Sunday, 9/29: 12-2pm and 2-4pm
